I always have trouble with throwing stuff away. Its because the most things I have are very dear to me and hold a lot of memories. And thats the reason that I have shoes and clothes which are very very old (4-5 years?).

The last thing I trew away (oh, wait, plan to trow away cause they are still in a little corner of my closet) are my allstars. I had them for 4 years and they are completely worn out. They are dirty, ripped open and they have holes in it.. Well, I guess you can say that I really needed new ones!

And new ones I have.. And they are soooo awesome! One of my best friends made these for me. It are.. PIKASHOES! She drew all those pikachu's on for me with special coloringpens and I'm so happy with them! The best thing is that they are the only ones in the world :D

Why the pikachus you wonder? Well, once.. I was dressed as a pikachu for a themeparty. The theme was animation fascination and the first thing I thought with that theme was pokemon. So I went totally crazy and went as a pikachu. I can say that I was the only one that good in theme, but everyone thought I was awesome so it was worth it :)

An outfit post! Yesh, its been two weeks since I last posted and I guess I will blame it on my busybusy collegelife. It started again! College life with lots of homework, colleges.. but also a lot of really fun stuff! I will tell you soon about the things I'm busy with at the moment, but I can say they are a lot of fun :)

What I'm wearing is my H&M Top, my Van Haren Wedges, a necklace I got from my aunt, my Mango belt and.. new jeans! They are from H&M and they are so comfy! I'm really happy with them, although I have to figure out some more ways to style it. But I guess that will be alright!

What I love about this outfit are the browncolours that match together so well and create the perfect autumn look. And autumn it is.. cause its raining cats and dogs every day around her. I really wish the summer would be back, but I guess that is not reality.

I will do a quick post at the end of this week and I'm planning on doing a Pick your Style next week. So stay tuned! xx Sabine

PS: I wanted to share with you a little picture of my kittycat. Her name is Smartie and I have to say that this is a very special picture because, when she sits on my lap, she always faces her face the other way. I'm always staring at her butt, so I guess she was just really glad to see me :)

New layout

As you may noticed, my blog has a new layout! I worked pretty hard on it (I did everything myself, including the banner :P) so I"m kinda proud of it :D Doesn't it look cool?

It certainly was time to change my blog. The previous layout was my very first layout and it was needed to refresh it. I hope you like it too! :D

Red flowers and dark blue

Hi guys! As promised, here is an outfitpost!!!

I'm wearing my Zara dress from Madrid, my blue cardigan from WE, my red tights from H&M and my new brown shoes from Sascha. I got my necklace from my aunt, so I don't know the brand of that one.

What I love about this outfit are the red thights. I once bought them because I thought they were awesome (wich they are of course) but I actually never wore them. They are pretty hard to combine so I am glad I found something to match it with! I think that the red makes this outfit a little bit more spicy and risky, but therefore is this outfit more blogworthy and a bit more special. I hope you share that opinion!

Don't know what the next post will be. Still really busy with moving and really tired from a awesome week. I'm moving back to The Hague btw, because I don't have a room anymore in Utrecht. Its really a bummer to live with my parents again, but I guess I can cope with it for a month or two. I hope I find a new room soon!

Here are a few looks I love at the moment. Hope you share that opinion with me!

What I love about this look is the simplicity of the overall outfit and the beautiful silver studs and crosses. Accessoires can make an outfit that is simple spectacular!

What I love about this look is the lace cardigan that is in my opinion kind of unique. Of course, lace is really a trend right now and you see it on a lot of blogs, but only in tops, but not in cardigans. I love the fact that a simple cardigan like that can make a kinda tough look of blue jeanlike items into a cute one!

This outfit is just the perfect summeroutfit. Light, playful and joyful!

I love the crossnecklaces this girls wear. I think its a pretty unique combination with the white sweater because most of the times crossnecklaces are worn with dark, black (leather) clothing. But this looks great too!

What I love about this look is the skirt. Yellow is a pretty though colour to combine, because most of the time it is to busy and to fluorescent for the look. But in this look it looks kind of soft, but with a strange fierceness. Its perfect!

Spice Girls

Everybody knows the spice girs. They are famous for there cute songs and also pretty outrageous outfits, which was of course typical 90ths style.

Why am I writing about them? Well, last week I had an 80ths and 90ths party. So a perfect theme to do a spice girls act! My jaarclub and I did the clothes from 'If you wannabe my lover':

Hi everybody! As promised.... an outfitpost!

I really love my new pink jeans (Zara). The colour is beautiful and you can combine it with a lot of other colours, like the blue top (Promod) I'm wearing. I think you will see this jeans a lot more in my outfits.

Because I have some new clothing and some other outfits I never showed to you, you will see the next couple of weeks a lot of outfitposts. I will also try to do another Love the Look and Pick your Style.

Here are some of my new clothingitems I wanted to share with you. I'm planning to make some outfit posts soon with them, so hopefully this blog will be a little more alive then it was the past few months.

I got the two shirts from New Yorker. I'm really happy with them, cause I really wanted an tribalprint item for a long time. I also really I'm glad with my union Jack shirt, cause the one I had was getting a bit to small for me, so now I have a great replacement :)

The jeans were from Zara and I'm also really happy with this one. I always love a bit different kind of clothing and of course pink jeans are a bit different. Its I think a lovely shade of pink and I already have a few outfits in mind with this one.

I also have two pair of new shoes from Sascha. I'm really in love with the brown ones. They are the perfect pair of casual shoes, wich you can wear onder jeans, but also dresses if you combine it well. The other shoes have a really lovely pattern and I already have figured out the perfect way to wear them.

Well, that was my update for today. I hope to update with an outfitpost sooner or later, but I promise you, it will come eventualy :)

Back to the Zoo (of blogging)

Hi everybody! Its been a while! I've been busy with many many things. I arranged an event, the familyday for my studiecoöperation. I participated in a murderinggame with waterguns, where my jc had to shoot another jc (we failed miserably). I moved from my temporary room to another temporary room (but this one is way beter then my first one!). I played in a musical wich was based on the movie Moulin Rouge ( I played the part of Toulouse, only then a woman). And last, but not least, I was at the pinkpopfestival in Landgraaf with my jc, where I celebrated my birthday at the 12th of june!

So, I guess I should post a lot of pictures from those events.. Well, I promise you, the ones from the musical and the festival will come soon. First I wanted to do a little outfit post here, wich is also related to the Pinkpopfestival I went to. For my brithday, I got two bandshirts from my jc. One from the Foo Fighters (they were amazing!) and one from Go Back to the Zoo, a dutch upcoming band who play very nice indierocky music. What I'm wearing on the picture is the Go Back to the Zoo shirt. I combined it with my black highwaist skirt and my white wedges. As you may have noticed, I also had a haircut!

Well, that is it for today. I can't promise anything about new posts, because I have to say yet again that my schedule is way to busy to handle for me. But one thing I'm sure of. Pictures of the musical and pictures of the festival WILL come!

Gluttony: sometimes you have to sin...

One thing my jc of my studentssociety is good in, is baking delicious pastery. Pies, cookies, brownies, deserts.. we are all good at it and perform with that the sin of gluttony. Last week, we had a evening of sin. We invited the senate of our studentssociety for a desertdiner: a diner with, as you can guess, only deserts. I had to share with you the beautiful things we made! So enjoy these pictures, and I can tell you, they look as good as they tasted! In order: An aplepie from Hinke, a chocolate strawberry treat for Hinke, brownie from Eveline, a choclate fondue from Elise, my italian specialty: Tiramisu, the straciatella cheesecake from Vera and me and the best of all: the amazing beautiful marsepincake from Vera, who made everything herself!

Brown Belts and Flowerdresses

A trip to a country is always an amazing opportunity to.. SHOP! Yes, I shopped in Madrid and I also bought some things! I wanted to show you the two items I bought on here so here they are!

Lets start with the more boring but o so practical one. This little belt. I bought this in a shop that was unknown to me. I guess its a brand that is only available in Spain. I love the pattern on this belt! It really has a bit of a hippiefeeling, but not that much. Just pretty :P

And.. my new favorite dress! I bought this at Zara. I hear you thinking: Zara? That is a brand that is also available in Holland.. so why would you buy that in a different country? Well, Zara is a spanish brand and so it is a lot cheaper in Spain then in Holland. I bought this for 7 euro's cheaper in Spain! :D Don't you love the flowers btw? They remind me a bit of the sunflowers of van Gogh, except of course that there aren't sunflowers but just .. flowers? I don't know. Main point is that I really love this dress and I think I'll be wearing it a lot this summer!

Well, thats it for today again. Updating my blog is going a little bit better now, because I manage to do one post a week. But of course, that is not enough. What I know for sure is that my next post will be a pick your style, so look forward to it! :D

Madrid

As you may know, I spent one week at Madrid a week ago and I have to say, I had a wonderful time! I've visited the Prado and the Thyssen museum, the famous bull fighting arena (don't worry, there was no fight at the time so I did not saw a innocent animal die), the plaza maior, the palacio real, the bibliotheca national, the retiro park and many beautiful little tapasrestaurants and cafés.

The weather was pretty bad. In the Netherlands it was at least 4/5 degrees of Celcius warmer and there was a lot of rain in Madrid. But I still had a great time and I wish I was back there. Here are some pictures of the city and the food I ate.

A bit pastel

Its an outfitpost! I'm wearing a zara blouse, H&M pink top, H&M green pants and my
white wedges from Van Haaren. I actually really love this outfit because iuts perfect for spring/summerweather. The pants are really comfortable also.

Ow, do you like my red nails? I'm still terrible at aplying nailpolish. I'm getting better, but my little sister is a real star with nailpolish. And the problem with me is that my nails stay pretty for only one or two days. After that, it just looks terrible and I have to take it off. Oh well, I will get better sometime, cause I still really like nailpolish, its pretty!

PS: I just came back from my trip to Madrid! It was really amazing but sadly, the weather wasn't that great... I will share some pictures as soon as possible. I also bought a really cute dress I'm dying to show you! That will come soon too ;) I had a great time and I wish that I was still there...

Hi you guys!

I know, I should be kinda ashamed of myself. No post in more then 2 weeks? I'm sorry! I'm extremely busy with school so I really did not have the time to think about blogposts. I actually don't even have time to post this one xD And worse, I can't promise you better times, because I have a lot of deadlines next week and the week after that I have exams.. After those exams, I really want to pick up on my blog again and do some cool stuff. I already have some things in mind, so I guess.. just wait for it! :D

But to make up for my absence, here is a little outfitpost I shot between my busy schedule. I'm wearing my Vero-moda cardigan, my Pull Out Bear jeans, my Dolcis Boots and my beige H&M Top. Its simple, but I really like it :) I personally really love the sweater, because of its unique colours. I don't know why, but it really reminds me of a Van Gogh painting..

I've discovered this blog a little while ago, while she was featured on another blog. And I have to say, the instant I saw her beautiful looks, I fell in love. The owner of the blog K is for Kani has a soft spot for vintage as you can see in many of her looks. But they way she wears the vintage has a really modern twist, which suits her very well. I love the fact that she layers and wears dresses all the time, things I do too. She is just really adorable, its the only thing I can say about actually...

She also sells vintage and has an own etsy store.. What does she sell? Beautiful headbands and bows and ribbons and flowers.. They items are all so cute and remind me of fairytales.

Gold Fever

One thing I really love are themeparties. I just love to dress up in a crazy way and let your creativity run wild! Wednesday I had one party wich made me buy some stuff I normally would never buy. But hey, everything for the right look right? The theme was gold fever, so everything gold and a bit trashy was perfect!

I bought this terrible corset and these little golden flats.. But it was really fun to wear them for that party. Normally I would never buy them of course, but those things always come in hand for other theme parties.

Here you see also the outfits of my friends. We prepared for the party at my place, with pizza's as dinner :) I did the make-up of most of my friends, which was really fun. We also shopped together in the afternoon, wich was actually a race to the clock. It was really hard to find golden stuff! But eventually, after I guess 10 stores? we found some perfect clothing. Friends in order: Vera, Hinke, Ruby, Hester and Eveline.

One fashionitem I'm currently really in love in are sheer blouses. Its sexy, chic, fashionable and you can combine it with lots of things. Its perfect as a top (with something under it if you don't want to stand in your bra), for over a dress and as a underlayer.

Flying Thoughts

Yes! Its an outfitpost! Its been a long time so I hope you will enjoy it. Sadly.. I couldn't get a picture of the whole outfit. The ligtning in my chamber was very bad and it is difficult for me to handle the timer. So I photographed a few parts of my outfit wich you can picture together I guess...

What I'm wearing is my new zara t-shirt! I already got you a preview with my previous posts so I guess you know that my shirt has airballoons on it. I really really love it, because the ballons itself look beautiful and i really love the colours of the shirt. I'm also wearing my blue-white dotted skirt from the zara, my tights and cardigan from H&M and my white wedges from Van Haren. I think some of you might think I'm crazy because the weather in Holland is nott that great nowadays. Its really cold and I just so want the summer to come right now. But I guess I still have to wait till I can finally wear dresses and skirts without many layers to prevent that I freeze my legs off.

Here is one picture where you can see a bit of my outfit. Its the group who runs the bar from UMTC, my studentscoöperation, this year. I'm part of that group and it is really fun :) We had a gaterhing to discuss all the positive and negative points of running a bar.

What else is happening in my life? Well.. I'm really busy right now, cause I have a lot of projects for school I have to work on. This weekend will hopefully be a productive one. Problem is.. I'm addicted to How I Met Your Mother right now, so its really hard to concetrate on schoolwork... But I guess it will go all right :) For the next post.. First Birthday

Yes, my blog, my little precious blog that I started exactely 1 year ago turned 1 today! The only thing I can say about that is: WOW.. 1 year of blogging, that is pretty long! In that year I had 6805 hits, a 119 blogposts, 15 followers, 6 bloglovin followers, visitors from all over the world, 205 comments, an amazing first feature on The Upside of Wonder, and best of all: a great time. I really enjoy blogging and the best thing about it is of course the positive response you get from visitors and followers. Really, it is you guys who kept me going, so I'm really grateful for that! :D

Of course I plan to go on for many more years to come, but lets start with the next year.

Goals for this year:
- More outfitposts. I know its been a really long time since I last posted an outfit and I really regret that. But in my defence, my camera was yet again broken so I couldn't take pictures anyway! But I just got my new one from the insurancecompany so expect an outfitpost next week for sure :) Its a pink one btw, and I love it! :D
- A different layout. I've had this layout for 1 year so I think it would be good to freshen it up a bit.
- Get something fashionable that portrays my mascot: the miraclebox. I mean, its my blogname, so I should have one too right?
- Be a part of a bloggermeetup. I really would love to meet some other bloggers out there and share some ideas with them!
- And the most important one of all: be there for my followers and provide them with posts they enjoy :) Oh, and if you guys have some questions, please email them to me! I really would love to get in touch with you!

Cat-tastic

I'm a huge kittylover. I have a cat, named Smartie, myself who is already 5 years with me. I really love her and miss her a lot, because she stays at my parents home while I live my new life in Utrecht. Its always really nice to come home and almost immediately have a cat on your lap, purring happily that you are home :)

Cats are portrayed on lots of different kinds of clothing. There are shirts, dresses, jewelry, even shoes that feature this beautiful animal. Even children love the kitty, just think of all the merchandise there is of the hello kitty figure! Well, here are some clothing that are Cat-tastic :)

Amazing clothes from the Zara.. I really really REALLY love the blouse and I wish sooo bad that I bought it. I'm still regretting that I did not buy it that day :(

Topmodels. We hate them for their beautiful skinny boddies but are also intriged by their mysterious lifestyle full of glamour, parties and mainly... fashion. They can wear the most beautiful clothes for a job. Isn't that incredible? A few of those models are at the top and are famous among the whole world. And on of those models, the girl who I'm going to talk about today, is a dutch girl and is currently in the 36th ranking of the internation model ranking website models.com. I'm talking about Patricia van der Vliet, once a contestant in Hollands Next Top Model. Now she made it a lot further in the fashionworld then the winner from that season.

Who is she? you make think. Since when is this dutchie so popular and famous? What kind of stuff did she do? Well, currently she is signed in fashionagency among the world (think of Amsterdam, New York, Londen, Paris, Milan, Munich, Athens..) and she walked fashionshows for names like Celine, Dries van Noten, Herve Leger, Karl Lagerfield, Kenzo, Chanel, Nina Ricci, Louis Vuitton, Hermès, Marc Jabocs, Dolce & Gabanna, Valentino, Yves Saint Laurent, Balenciaga and Prada.

Well, what about the photoshoots? She appeared in lots of editorials like Numéro, Interview, W, Allure, French Elle, and the Italian, Japanese, British, Chinese, Russian and American Vogue. She also did a lot of campagins, like Balenciaga, Burberry, Sonia Rykiel, H&M and ALexander Mcqueen.

See for yourself if you think this girl is worth it.. I'm a huge fan of her and a bit proud that a girl who ended fourth in the competition got so high in her carreer. I'll try to blog as soon as I can next time. Hopefully I will have my camera back by then, so I can finally make some new outfit pics again :)

A Winged-Question

Hi everybody! A short blogpost from me. I don't have time to do a big one because I'm cramming for exams like hell and .. urgh.. its just terrible. But now the question. There is a ring that I'm still doubting about. I really like it but I don't know if I should buy it, because I actually don't have money for it.

Here it is.. Isn't it beautiful? I really like how detailed the wings are. So should I buy it or not? And if I buy it.. wich colour should I take? The silver or the golden one? (I don't like the bronze one so that one is out of the question)

Pick Your Style: Sailor

Today a pick your style after a silence of one week. This trend is a trend that always pops up almost every year in the designers collections. I guess it just brings that summery feeling with it, with beaches, the sea, ships.. Ships? Yes, this also called Nautical trend is based on the uniforms of sailors from the navy. The colours were then mostly blue, white and gold (the buttons), with a neckerchief + square knots and of course a white hat to top it off.

But what is this sailor style in fashion? Think about the colours red, blue, white, silver and gold. Think also of stripes, shorts and jumpsuits. And think of shapes that remind you of the sea, like anchors, steering-wheels, seastars and shells. Here are some items that portray exactely that nautical feeling:

And now I'll show you an example of fashion that uses this trend. In the Korean Vogue of this year was namely a nautical shoot! Here are some pictures of it :) Also here is a shot from the fashionshow from Spijker and Spijkers S-S 2011, where the used the nautical theme but also made it quite new.

Oh, and I can't restrain myself to make a little sideline. I think some of you though the word sailor was connected to the japanese schoolgirluniforms. Indeed, those schooluniforms have a lot in commen with the original navy uniforms because they have that same collor and square knot, but it is still very different, because there is no nautical sense too it, its plainy used for school. This uniform is very commen to japanese daily life and is largely portraied in anime and manga, wich the navy uniform isn't. Sailor moon for example is one of the most famous animes and the characters wear indeed sailor uniforms for school but also when defying enemies.

RIP camera.. again..

So I'm pretty pissed right now. My camera is broken.. AGAIN.. Really, next time I buy a camera, it won't be from Olympus because that brand really stinks and is way to expensive for its quality. Luckily I still have insurance for it so I can send it away. Hopefully they will fix it sooner then the last time (I had to wait two months for it). And hopefully the next time it won't break in 3 weeks again...

These are the last pictures my camera made. Its an outfitpost! What I'm wearing is my zara flower top, wich is one of my favorit tops ever, my mango shorts, my pink sweater and tights from the H&M and boots from Tango. I'm sorry if the pictures look a bit weird, but it was the first time I tried the timer. Now that I live on my own, I don't have anybody to make pictures of me, so its pretty difficult to shoot something like an outfit. But I think they turned out fine for the first time. Oh, and my hair is wet from the shower, so that looks a bit weird too xD

Happy (late) New Year

Yes, I know its the third of january and I know I'm two days late.. But beter late then never right? So, how was your new years celebration? Party a lot or spend it at home with family? I really want to know what my followers did, so please comment!

Well, what I did was pretty spectacular (for me). I went to the lovely island Texel, one of the wadden islands of the Netherlands. I was there with 7 people from my university. One girl lived there so we could sleep there as well. I can tell you, it was amazing! First of course counting till twelve and after that we partied all night in one of the local clubs in a nearby village. The next day was also very funny, because some of us (not me, I'm a coward and I don't like the cold) wanted to do a New years dive. I don't know if this concept is also known worldwide, but in the Netherlands it is common to go into the seawater at the very first day of the new year, so you really have a fresh start. Its is incredibely cold but I guess it also gives you satisfaction (like: I did it! yeah!). I was supporting on the sidelines, ready to wrap my towel around one of the brave contestents. I also made some pictures of it! One is here, where my brave friends were posing for me :) THey are called Fenna, Simone, Niels and Jonathan btw :)

Well, what else is there to say on a new years post? I guess I should talk about my goals this year. The problem is, I really don't have any! But there are some things I really want to change this year, so I guess that would count as a goal.

- I want to enjoy everyday the fullest I can. I really want to have a nice experience everday, one that makes me happy and makes my day worthwhile. It is really important to realise that life can stop any moment and isn't forever, so you should live your life the best you can. Laugh at least once a day, because then it means it was a happy one.

- I want to relax a bit more. I have the habit of planning my week way to full every time, so I'm stressing a lot, way more than is good for me. So I should say no for once in a while and just relax with a good movie in bed.

- I really want to stay in contact with friends of my previous school, but also with people from other hobbies I haven't seen in more then 1 year. Its terrible but true, I adapt pretty fast to new situations and I tend to forget about people who aren't directly in my surroundings. So that is one thing to really think about when I have some time off. Meeting with friends!

- I want to write more. Writing is one of my passions and one of the things I kinda wanna do when I'm done with university. So I should practice it a lot more then I do right now.

- And the last thing: I want to make my room really cosy and pretty and just a nice play to be aroud. It is still a bit of a boys room, wich is so not good. I know I won't stay in this household voor long but I really want to make the best out of my time here, wich includes interacting with my roommates more. That is still not very good at the moment so I really shoud work on that.

Merry Xmas part 2

And here are pictures from my second lovely christmas day! Well, of the food mainly. We cooked with the whole family and everything turned out delicious. I made the aspergesoup as a starter. For the maincourse, we ate french beans with bacon, a salad with pine-treepits, a rolled rost, little baked mashed potatoes, potatocroquets and cranberrysauce. And for desert, we had delicious Greek Yoghurt with honey and walnuts.

Oh, and here is a picture of the whole family! Well, I'm making the photo so not everyone, but you can see my mother, father, sister and my grandparents on here :) To bad the quality of the pictures is really bad.. Oh, and another picture of the beautiful nails of my sister. She really is a artist with nailpolish. She is going to do my nails today too! :D

Merry Xmas part 1

First of all: A merry christmas to all of you! Celebrate this wonderful holiday with your family and enjoy the presents and food! I wanted to share a bit of my holiday with you, so here are some pictures of the food from today and our christmas tree! Tomorrow there will also be a post, with the food from that day :P For the ones who are wondering: we ate gourmet. That is that you cook your own meat and vegetables on a hot plate.

And.. an outfit post! Because that belongs also to christmas: Time to dress up wonderfully. I wanted to show you two things I bought at Thursday when my little sister came to Utrecht to shop with me. This blue warm poncho, that I bought at the H&M and my new long black boots, that I bought at the Dolcis. I really love my new poncho, because its so cosy, warm and winterish. I feel so comfortable in it! And the boots.. I'm in love.. Really, I needed black boots for a very long time because they match with a lot of outfits I have for the winter. I was so happy when I finnaly found them!

Moving, UMTC, Tests and Broken Camera's

Hi! This time a bit more story like blog, to explain why I was so terribly absent this past week.

Well, first of all.. I MOVED OUT!!!

I finally have a room of 14 m2 in Utrecht where I'm in my first year of the study Dutch Language and Literature. The room is still a bit of a mess, while the previous and current owner (he is away for 6 months to Florida and after those six months I have to get out of the room again :( ) was not really a cleaner. Everywhere was dust and there are still some I LOVE BEER posters and weird stuff in one of his closets.. But next week I'm going to decorate my room and make it a lot more mine! So HEMA, here I come!

Renting the room was also a bit of a problem, because my lovely owner forgat to turn in the application for me renting it. I'm not registered yet in the municipality of Utrecht so I'm currently not officialy living there and not getting the larger study allowance :( But its al good now :)

Apart from my room, I was also a bit stressed because I had to come for the Senate with my jaarclub (i.o.) from my studentscoöperation UMTC. It was really scary and we made a lot of mistakes but eventually we got the I.O. status (in oprichting = in founding). Our name is S.A.S. (i.o.) wich means Semper Amicae Sumus: We are always friends. But it also means to be in your sas, wich is a dutch expression for letting people know that your satisfied of who you are and what your are doing at the moment. It also means, and this is the funniest wordplay of the name, Scheit-Aan-Sonja. Sonja refers to Sonja Bakker, a dietist who wrote lots of books for losing weight. Scheit-aan means actually that we are not listening to Sonja and just eat what we want. Don't worry, its not because we want to get fat or anything or that we eat very much everyday, but its kind of a symbol for us. Everybody is the same and on the one day that we eat together, you shouldn't whine about a calorie or more. Its just fun to eat with each other and to bake delicious stuff. The delicious stuff is always there on our tuesday dinner evenings, because someone always brings brownies, chocolatecake or something other delicious.

After that the week wasn't finished, because I had to study for a test. Thursday, I had to translatea Middledutch text to modern dutch and make questions about it. I know this subject is not somethign a foreigner can easily understand (Middledutch is dutch right, so why translate it?) but Middledutch is pretty different from Modern dutch and it was pretty difficult. But it is also very interesting to see how much our language changed. I did pretty well and I think I really passed it! :D

Then the last thing of the list. That thursday evening, I had to work behind the bar at UMTC. It was a lot of fun, but it was pretty late when I finally was free to go home.. I went to bed at 5 AM.. That Friday, I went home for the first time, wich was pretty difficult also because of the terrible snowy weather. Really, it hasn't snowed this much in so many years.. its ridiculous! I'm currently wondering if I can get back to Utrecht tomorrow.. Oh, tomorrow I will finally get my camera back! So I can finally make pictures again! I'm planning to make pictures of the snow, so you can join my wonderment of this crazy weather in Holland. I think I haven't told you about my stupid broken camera yet... so here is the story:

I think I used it for 3/4 times in total. After the first time, it broke inmediately and I had to wait for like 5/6 weeks for it to be repaired. After 2/3 times of using it again, it broke again! And I think you guys wonder.. What the hell are you doing with that camera? Wel, nothing! I just make pictures really carefully and didn't do anything that could break it.. but it did.. I'm getting a new one now because my camera was a wrong model.. Grr.. I'm happy I'm getting a new one because it was 180 euros and otherwise is just spilled it on a camera that I used for a very short time.

Well, that is the story for today. I realise that it is immensly long.. But I just got a lot to tell! Tomorrow or the day after tomorrow will be a snowy post ;) See ya soon! xoxo Sabine

As all the dutch people know, last sunday it was time for our version of Santa Claus! I got a lot of beautiful presents and I was dying to show them with you!
So here there are!
- 2 Vogue Magazines! I'm soo happy with them! These are my very first Vogues!
- A Zoeva Bamboo Makeup brushset. A brush for everything!
- This beautiful ring. It has a really unique pattern on it!
- Cd of the Beatles: Abbey Road.
- This book of Jodi Picoult. I really love her books! I already have My sisters keeper and Handle with care.
- A backup system. Really needed that one.
- A printer <3 I'm so happy with it! But it was to big to fit in the picture and its still in the box
- Cartridges. Very useful and expensive.

Why the printer/backup/cartridges? Well.. I'm moving out! Next monday I'm going to my first room in Utrecht, for 6 months :) I'm really excited, but also a bit scared.. BUt I guess it will turn out right! See ya soon! xoxo Sabine

Autumn seems so long ago

Hi guys, I'm back! I'm sorry for the one week of silence... I was really busy with learning for an important test and with Sinterklaas, a dutch holiday, so I didn't have the time to blog. SORRY! To make it up to you: An outfitpost!

And I think you are wonderin why I'm longing for autumn in my title, while its still autumn according to the official calender. Well.. it has been snowing.. and freezing.. and.. well, it was just nasty cold in Holland! And I have to admit.. I think I prefer rain over snow. What? Snow is beautiful! you say. Well... it is beautiful but the chance of falling of your bike increases with at least 80 percent. And there is also a chance that all the trains won't ride.. so that I can't go to Utrecht and go to my colleges. And thats not what we want, do we? So I'm longing back to the Autumn weather wich was warmer and more beautiful (with all the red/yellow leavse in the trees). This is a bit reflected in my outfit, because the color of my skirt is just the perfect brown/orange colour for autumn.

Ow, I'm wearing my Promod blazer, my H&M top and tights, my Tango boots and my Zara Skirt. I choose to wear the black to make my brown skirt pop more :). Did you notice my beautiful black ring? I just bought it and I'm really in love with it ! Its simple and small, but also very deliquate. Tell me what you think!

The National Photographer of the Year competition is held every year, where people all over the world can send there wildlife pictures in. There are a lot of categories for adult photographers, but there is also an opportunity for the young ones! These are my favorite pictures from this year.

Ok Go!

Last sunday, I went to a huge cdmarket with I think a hundred stands. There were also stand for toys, comic books and a huge vintage and antique market. It was in the Jaarbeurs in Utrecht and is one of the biggest markets of Europe. I went there with my dad and my aunt and really had a lot of fun. Main goal was of course to buy some music! I bought 4 cd´s:

- Here we go, Stereo! - Racoon
- Oh No - Ok Go

And I wanted to talk about the last one. This amazing band has really good music but also really cool musicvideo's. Al lot of video's are made in one shot or are just a bit weird (the way I like it.. those clips stand out a lot more then the 100th girl singing in a bra and dancing in a sexy way with guys..) I've also seen them on Lowlands, were they gave an amazing performance. I wanted to share my favorite numbers of the cd I bought with you with the most amazing clips. I know, its a bit different post, but I really want to share the music I like with you!

Its time for another outfit! I wanted to show you one confusing item of my closet: The dress. What is weird about it? Look closely at the pattern. Some say the round thingies are eyes, some say it are olives. Some see sheep in it and some snakes and some insects.. It so weird! But thats exactely why I love it! I already have this dress for 3-4 years from the H&M and its still great! Ow, and the tights and the shirt are also from H&M and the heels are from Invito.

Pick Your Style: Military

Welcome to the new section of my blog: Pick Your Style.
Because there are so many different styles out in the blogger/fashion world and that I also experimate with different things, I wanted to dedicate a part of my blog to a lot of unique styles and trends. There are so many great clothes and styles in the world who help all different people to express themselves, so I thought it would be nice to give those styles some credit for the amazing things we see on all the catwalks and all the blogs.

Today I wanted to a trend that is currently very popular on the catwalk: The Military Look. It started in 2008, while military jackets, inspired by the unifroms of the 19th century, ruled the catwalk. Beautiful colours like dark blue and crimsonred were used for those jackets with huge buttons.

A designer who you could call the king of military jackets is of course Balmain, with his amazing statementshoulderjackets. Aren't they amazing? Its just that modern rock edge that makes them fabulous!

How to combine it? Jeans is the best thing. But you can also combine it with a dress, as I did a while ago. This jacket is from H&M btw.

This trend was immensely popular and didn't, as many trends, die after one year. It evolved into another aspect of the military trend, the functional and practical one. It is focused now on the uniforms of the 20th century, with army colours as green and beige, with camouflage prints. Clothes are thin, ripped and short, but oh so lovely. It really is a though look and maybe is not suited for everybody's taste, but I'm seeing it more and more on blogs lately!

The military trend from 2010 is also a very close brother to the lovely aviator trend, a trend that, just like the military, is popular for quite a while now. But thats for another time.

Dotted vintage

In my last giveaway, I told you about my dear friend who gave me two vintage dresses. Here is the one I wanted to keep in an outfit look! :)

I combined the dress with my black blazer from Promod, my black thigts from H&M and my white wedges from Van Haaren. I'm wearing one vintage necklace with it and a necklace of Renee Sturme.

So how have you all been? I just started a new semester with two new courses: Literature of the Middle Ages, where we have to read and analyse books from the middle Ages and Language, Human and Society, where we learn how our language developed to the language from now. I already had to make a lot of homework for those two courses, so yet again.. I'm busy!

Ow, and I started rehearsing for the musical from UMTC, my studentscoöperation. I'm really excited about it and I love the part I'm going to play! Problem is.. I can't tell you guys wich musical I'm going to play! But you guys can guess of course... :P So I thought I would make a little game out of it. I'll give you one hint: France.

Vintage giveaway!

Hello everybdoy! I know it has been a while but I'm really really busy learning for the test I have tomorrow. But to show you that I did not forget my blog, here is the promised post...

Because I'm giving something away! A dear friend of mine gave away a little while ago a lot of vintage clothes she got from the mothers friend/aunt (don't quite remember wich one it was)... I got to pick 2 items, two amazing vintage dresses.

One of those vintage dresses was a bit to small and because I don't have the time to make something else with it, I'm giving it away on my blog here! I know some vintagelovers visit my blog so I hope someone likes the dress and wants to have it :) I'm giving it away for free, because I thought it would be only fair to pass it on for free when I got it for free as well. I'm still charging shippingcosts though.

Now about the dress: I think it would fit a S/M best. The dress is very long btw, so I would suggest a minimum length of 170 centimeter. The brand is BP. Nordstrom.

A bit grungy

This look is of course... Grunge! Well, a little bit, because I'm way to girly to fully commit myself to this dark style. Thats why I tried to do a feminine grudge thing. De dark lips, the plaid shirt and the necklace (wich is a bit hidden, I'm sorry) is grunge like and the white jeans, the belt and the black high heels are the more girly side.

Doesn't this picture looks dark? I love it myself because I think I look FIERCE! One of the favorite words of the top model Tyra Banks. She uses it alot in her popular Next Top Model show, where she trains beautiful girls to be a topmodel. Maybe she would say that I look fierce too! Well, a bit fierce, because I can't compare myself with all the beautiful girls and the topmodel herself.Don't get me wrong, I'm not trying to be or wanting to be a model. Its not my thing. H&M Guest Designer Collaborations

As many of you know, the most recent Guest Designer for H&M is Lanvin. This amazing video with his new affordable collection is spread all around the web and it promises a wonderful collaboration. I really love the dresses at 0:33,1:00, 1:38 and the coat at 3:25! Its really a promising collection and I'm looking forward to it!

This is not the first collaboration from H&M with a guest designer. It started 6 years ago, with Karl Lagerfield, who we all know as THE designer of Chanel. His collection was dominated by black and had his face on the clothes (one of the first times Karl used himself on the clothes he designed). We all know that that isn't a new thing anymore, because his face and name appear on bags, ties and even on coca cola bottles!

After him a lot of other designers followed. Stella McCartney was the Guest Designer in 2005, while our dutch pride, the duo Viktor & Rolf, were the next ones in 2006 who had the opportunity to collaborate with H&M.

Popstars designed for H&M as well. Madonna and Kylie Minogue both starred in 2007.

Designer who shouldnt be left out in the list are the wonderful Roberto Cavelli, Commes des Garcons, Matthew Williamson and of course Sonia Rykiel.

I think one of the last ones was the most popular one: Jimmy Choo. Yes, I was also in love with the faboulous heels. I'm still regreting the fact that I did not buy those beautiful black ones in the picture below.. They are way to beautiful...

Who will follow? I'm secretly hoping for Balmain or Alexander Mcqueen, who can toughen H&M a bit up, but a more femimine collection like Chloé would be great too. Or Acne? Wouldn't it be great to buy their wedges, but than a bit cheaper then the current price of 450-500 euros? There are enough options so let's hope for yet again a beautiful new H&M collection!

Its Halloween today! I have to admit, I'm too busy right now to dress up and go out in the streets, although I wish I could! Dressing up is soo much fun, but unfortunately for me, halloween is not really celebrated in Holland. :(

I wore this outfit a few days ago. I love the shorts myself,although it is a bit crooked in the picture <3 They are from Mango and I hadn't had the chance to wear them as much as I wanted. So I tried to make a autumn/winterlook with it. I think I succeeded in that, because I personally really like this outfit. The top is from H&M btw, as the black top underneath it and the tights. I guess all of you know of the amazing website polyvore.com. For the ones who don't, its a website were you can make a set with thousands of clothes from designers. Its a bit like a dollmaker, but without the doll. Its really fun to practice your styling with it and just play around with it. You can make any set as creative as you want, with texts, beautiful backgrounds.. even real people!

The fun thing about this website that they have a lot of styling compititions going on! I wanted to show you my creations for three contests I just joined. The Raw Shark Texts

I first have to say that I'm sorry for this late post. I know I have to post more often, but I'm so busy right now! Exams are coming up and I still have to turn in a lot of important assignments.

One of those assignments, was to write an essay about a totally mental book I just had to mention on my blog. The Raw Shark Texts from Steven Hall. Really, its difficult to describe this book because it is so absurd and so weird! But also really really good. I know I don't usually post about books but I think you guys should know about this one.

"Eric Sanderson wakes up in a place he doesn't recognice, unable to remember who he is. All he has left are journal entries recalling Clio, a perfect love now gone.
So begins a thrilling adventure that will send Eric and his cynical cat Ian on a search for the Ludovician, the force that is threatening his life, and Dr. Trey Fidorus, the only man who knows its secrets."

Sounds promising, no? The special thing about this book is that it has so many connections with other famous stories, like the Orpheus myth but also famous movies like Jaws. And, to make it more special: For every chapter in the book, there is a UN-chapter, somewhere hidden in the world. Really, I'm not making it up! Only 4 or 5 of those unchapters are found today (one under a bench in the UK) and there is a huge discussion going on on Steven Halls website: http://forums.steven-hall.org/ Here is a picture from him btw:

There are so many interpretations of this book that it is really mindblowing. For my essay, I had to write about hypertext (texts on the internet with hyperlinks) and intertekstuality (the fact that every texts is linked to other texts and is never original). I'm going to turn it in tomorrow, so I hope my teacher will like it!

Ow, the Ludovician, which is described in the describtion of the book, is a huge dangerous shark who eats your memories away and then KILLS you!

If you like absurd books and want to join the discussion on the forum, than read it! It really is worth your time, although I guess you will be startled at first with the unbelieveble world in it.

I'll try to post next friday or saturday. Don't know yet what kinda post it will be,but I promise you it will be worth reading :)

Going to the theaters

Thursday, I went to the play from a theatergroup I'm planning to join. They are called Spot (from spotlight) and they are a part of the studentssociety UMTC I'm a member of. They play was really awesome and I can't wait to be acting with them! Its a pretty tough rehearsel schedule though, monday from 19:00-22:00. I have college till 19:00 at monday so when do I have the time to eat? But I'm sure I will have a great time with Spot :)

This is what I wear that day, a chique and feminine outfit. The sweater is from Vero Moda and my new absolute favorite one. I just love the pattern and the colours of it! The black poofy skirt (I LOVE poofyskirts) is from H&M, as the black top and the pink tights. The shoes are from invito.

I hope you noticed, but I got a haircut! Its a bit shorter then I wanted, but I still really really love it! What do you guys think?

Her style is really amazing. She has a lot of beautiful clothes (Jeffrey Campbells and Miu Miu's!), embraces the current trends, and combines them in a way that it always looks elegant and beautiful. I guess you could describe her style as romantic, although she loves to wear rockish outfits too!

This is my entry. I totally adore the shirt! I don't know why, but it feels a bit Indian to me. Thats why I combined it with the feater jewelry. Nothing like Chanel

Chanel S/S 2011. Perfection. Really, that catwalk, the clothes, the models and the little boy... they were amazing. Good job Karl. Watch it yourself. What I really loved about this show was the huge beautiful shaped catwalk and the very difficult pattern the models had to walk. At the end, all the models were on stage which looked amazing from above. The classical music accompanying it is also perfect.

These are my favourit outfits. Elegant and classy. Notice Patricia van der Vliet at the fourth picture! She really is doing well and it should be a great honour to her to be able to walk in such an incredible show. I wish I someday could be able to see her walk in reality and attend a Chanel fashionshow. I guess it will be ten times more incredible than this video.

Autumn is orange

The thing I love the most about autumn, are the beautiful colours you see everywhere. Red, orange, yellow, brown.. Leaves can have so many colours and they are all beautiful.

One of those colours inspired my look today. The colour orange, which you can see in my brand new skirt from the Zara. Its my first orange clothing and I really love it. Despite the beautiful dark orange colour, it also has very cute little pockets! I'm planning to buy more autumn coloured clothes, because I actually don't have any.

I have to tap tonight at my studentscoöperation UMTC. I'm looking forward to it, but I'm very tired, so I hope I don't have to work till 4 in the morning.. Well, we will see. Next post will probable be saturday or sunday. Look forward to some serious fashion! xoxo Sabine

Autumn Buys

Just wanted to share my newly bought clothes and make-up with you! Tomorrow will be a new outfit post, with another new mystery clothing-item..

I got this make-up for only 10 euro's! I love sale! Sephora is from a really good quality and really expensive, So I'm glad I got it on sale (I saved 27,50 euros...). The sale is still going on, so if you like make-up, go to the V&D Prijzencircus!

The cardigan (from Vera Moda) and the white jeans (from Mango) were also bought with a 20 % discount. I personally really really love the cardigan! The pattern is so different and it reminds me a bit of the paintings of Van Gogh. Outfit post with this item will come soon! I also really needed new black tights, because the ones I have, have a lot of holes. The red tights are an experiment. Don't know how to style them yet, but I'm sure I'll figure some outfits out :).

Catching the last summer breeze

Weather in Holland is very unpredictable. It can rain cats and dogs for days and then the sun can appear behind the clouds. Yesterday was like a summer day, although its really autumn now. It was even warm enough to wear a skirt, so I immediately took that chance and dressed up summerly for the last time this year.

I'm wearing a top from Promod I bought 1 year ago in Paris. I personally really love the color and the layers! Its still a pain though, because I have to iron it every time it comes out of the washingmachine! I'm also wearing a skirt from Zara and Van Haaren Wedges.

Now I'm finally going to bed. Studentslife is really fun with all the parties and stuff but also hectic and you don't get that much sleep. Even though the only thing I can think about is sleeping, I'm still really looking forward to the Let's Go Abroad party from my studycooperation Awater. The fun thing about this party is that you can pick any country you like, because the theme is ABROAD. I'm still figuring out what to wear.. but I'll make some pictures of it of course! Lamb's Wool

A trend I'm currently very interested in are clothes with lambs wool. Its seen a lot on the catwalk lately and it really inspires me. I love the fact that it looks warm but that it can look also fashionable and chic at the same time! Its a bit in the trend of the scandanavian patterns, wich I love too btw. I guess designers are inspired a lot by the colder countries lately, wich is perfect for the season thats coming!

I don't have any lambs wool items yet (or scandanavian ones), but I'm certainly planning to buy a jacket with it. I really need a nice new wintercoat. Well, I got a nice one.. but its always better to have two coats right? Here are some lovely items I can't afford, but still are so worth dreaming about them. - Glee. Just started watching that serie, but seriously.. its amazing! I really love all the characters and some songs are sang so beautifully!

- I got a very bad eye-sight, namely -8. I wear lenses for it, but without I seriously can't see a thing.
- I've been bullied in my first year of high school. It was tough but it made me stronger :)
- I love dressing up. And not only in a fashionway, but also costumes and stuff. Theme parties are my favorit parties, because you can go totally crazy with clothes with a legitimate reason.
- I have a cat! Her name is smartie and she is so adorable! I really really love cats.. Just the way the purr when they are happy, sitting on your lap.. so cute!

Hello, and welcome to my new extremely busy life as a collegestudent! Yes, I'm sorry, I really suck at posting at the moment but I can swear that I really don't have the time! I'm currently always traveling (at least 3 hours a day back and forth from Den Haag to Utrecht), have always late colleges (from 17:15-19:00, so no time for a normal dinneer) and have a lot of obligations with UMTC (which is, of course, not a bad thing and a lot of fun). I know it still sounds a lot like stupid excuses, but really, I try to post!

Last week, I went to an introductioncamp with my studycooperation Awater. For the guys who don't remember, I'm currently studying Dutch Language and Culture at the University of Utrecht. The camp was there to get to know your fellow Dutch students in your year and some older ones. I can tell you, I did not sleep very well but I really had a lot of fun! Here are some pictures featuring the people I was in a group with. There were namely 6 groups who competed against each other for points and the one who scored the most points got a delicious applepie!

I ended op fourth with my team, but we had a lot of fun! Our teamname was Jantje Swaffelaar.. don't ask me why. I think the most fun was the Bonte Avond, which is a crazy night with lots of little funny performances. Because we study Dutch, we also have to read a lot of Dutch Literature and that was the subject of the Bonte Avond. All the groups got one famous book and had to make a parody on it. We had the old book Karel and the Elegast and we made a gangster version of it! :)I'm the cheerleader on the background of this pictures, the angel who brougth Karel the message of stealing (In our version, I was a hallucination of Karel who was smoking weed). We got third with this little play! :)

Nude colours

I did a photoshoot with a dear friend of mine yesterday, Anneke. It was a lot of fun but also really weird for me, because I was allowed to style her! I never styled anyone before, except for myself, so it was weird to dress someone in my way, while that person has a totally different style. We did two shoots, one with nude colours and a LBD shoot for a imaginary prom. I'll only post the nude colours below in this post, because otherwise there will be way to many pictures in this one! Next post will be the LBD shoot. Oh, and I don't know when I'll post that, because yes, I'll be gone again for 4 days. Being a firstyear student is really hectic and busy!

I'm actually pretty proud at some pictures I shot. I think my friend looks stunning and everything is in place with the light and all. I'm getting a bit better at photographing, although its of course still not very good. It was also fun to be shot by someone else then my mom (yes, my mom always takes my pictures). I really got some interesting shots out of it. I personally really love this shot were my hair is loose and I look a bit dangerous, like a lion! :P

I'm wearing my new pants from H&M and also a new shirt from H&M. I love the way the shape falls! Its also really comfortable, because its so large. I lost the paper with the clothes from my friend, so I'm sorry, can't help you with those! PLease tell me what you think :) I personally really love the belt she has. Its a beautiful color and you can do a lot with it!

Hitchhiking from Utrecht to Den Bosch (and back)

I'm back and now officialy a member of UMTC. I'm really happy, but also really exhausted. Those four days were not that bad but its was not enjoyable eather. I can't tell you about all the things I've done, because I have to keep it a secret. But there is one thing I'm sure I can tell and that thing was the most amazing day I had those 4 days.

Well, as you can see in the title, I had to Hitchhike! OMG, was the first thing I thought.. I never did that before. We, my little group of 3 people (Gijsbert and Marileen), had to go to Den Bosch and get the famous Bosche Bollen, a present for the Senate, Conqueror 10 years old port and a bottle of Prosecco. Now the funny part. We had no money! So we had to earn all those things! (The hand in the picture is btw not my hand)

I'll start from the beginning. First, we were dropped of at a tankstation near Utrecht. That point was really annoying, because nobody went to Den Bosch. After 1 hour of asking strangers, we finally found someone who could bring us to the A2, the road that leads to Den Bosch. Our second driver took us into the heart of Den Bosch and helped us out a lot. He was pretty rich, owner of a company and had a huge car and after nicely chatting with him, we got 30 euro's to buy the Bosche Bollen! So nice! From that money we could also buy a present for the Senate (chocolate fondue and the prosecco).

We also had to get the Port and something to eat in someway, so we worked 10/15 minutes for the AH. We also sang a song on our knees for a croissant and some coca cola and we got a burger king crown to wear for some french fries <3

We had to hurry a lot, because we had to get back at three o clock. Our lift back home when pretty smooth, although we needed a total of 4 rides. One was pretty dangerous, because we had to sit in the back of a car with tools from handyman and we were so afraid it would fall!

Well that was that day. I also painted a fence for 6 hours, had a party in the theme of Pimps and Ho's and met some really nice people! Next post will be tomorrow or the day after tomorrow, an outfit look! Hope to see you soon! xoxo Sabine

UMTC Packinglist

Tomorrow starts my ontgroening. Ontgroening is something that happens to you when you join a studentscorporation/club. All the freshmans go on a camp where they get a terrible treatment. Its all for the bonding. If a group of freshmans get the same treatment, they will automaticaly get closer to each other for comfort. And thats the purpose of the ontgroening, to get to now your year. You also have to show how bad you want to join the studentsclub. Luckily, my club, UMTC, is not that bad actually. This ontgroening is only 4 days, while other bigger ones are 11/12 days and a lot more horrible. I'm actually pretty excited, because I have no idea what to expect. Well, I'm sure it won't be that nice but hopefully I will meet some great new people.

For this ontgroening, I had to get a lot of stuff and I have no idea whatfor. I wanted to share those crazy items with you. Travelling will be very hard with it. Well, I have one "normal" bag, with the usual sleepingstuff and clothes, one "weird" bag with all the things I had to get and one sleeping-bag and one air mattress . And this all on ONE BIKE! Its going to be really heavy.. Well, here are the items. Enjoy the weirdness!

Its always amazing to know that even people from my little country can be famous in the bloggerworld. Of course, Amsterdam, our capital, is a really fashionable city and is growing on the fashionmap. Still, fashion and dutch people don't match together well, because of our mentality.

But this dutchie has more than 3000 followers, has amazing outfits and tutorials, has lovely designerpieces and lives in the city of NY. Wow.. is really the only thing I can say. I follow her blog for quite a while now and without any regret. Her outfits are very varied although you can see her love for wedges shimmer trough all her looks. Cold Weather Denial

Its raining cats and dogs around here but I still have this summer feeling. I just don't want it to end! Rain means autumn, nasty winds and cold hands. But also a new life as a student, golden leaves and time for the warmer clothes of my closet!

This outfit is a "in between" outfit. I'm still not ready to fully accept to wet weather, so I put on my flowery skirt (used it as a top, which looks quite good actually!) and my denim shirt from the ZARA. That is the summer part, because its actually a bit to cold for this weater. The autumn part are in the long light jeans and my brown warm boots. I have to say I missed them, they are so warm and comfortable!

I'm always a bit strange with clothes and the current season. I never listen to the weather but always wear what I want to wear. Well, ok, I won't wear a bikini in winter, but I have the strange habit of dressing up to cold for the season, with skirts and dresses that weren't ment to be for winter. Guess my heart will always live in the warmer seasons...

Jade... Sold Out For Ever?

Everybody knows Chanel. The clothes are just amazing and I think a lot of fashionbloggers would do anything for the famous Chanel Chained Bag. But Chanel is not only famous for its clothing, but also for its fragrances and make-up. I know I usually don't post about beautyproducts, because that is a totally different branche, but I just wanted to share this amazing product with you. Also because I think a lot of people heard of it and love it. What I want to talk about is the amazing nail-polish Jade 407, the sensation of Fall 2009.

This nailpolish was so popular it was sold out in no time. Its of course perfect with the current Pastel trends and its a pretty unique color. A lot of brands tried to recreate this amazing nailpolish colour. But what if I tell you that there is one almost perfect the same for only 3 euros?

This nailpolish is from Catrice, a brand that produces cheap make-up, but with a pretty good quality. There latest Ultimate Nail Lacquer collection is very good and contains the color Sold Out For Ever 240 (maybe a small reference to the ungettable Chanel-polish Jade). Here is an example on my nails. You can see the colour looks almost the same and I really love it! I really love the current pastel trends :)! So if you want a cheap duplicate, buy this nail-polish from Catrice and all the other amazing ones. There are in total 32 beautiful colors (I myself already have Scream Peach, Bloody Mary to Go and Princess For A Day, Sold Out For Ever is from my sister).

UIT/Lowlands 2010

After a week full of investigating Utrecht, meeting new fantastic people, unhealthy food, party's, lack of sleep, (rock)music and mudd, I'm finally back to blog about it for you!

Well, of course first the UIT, the one that was still tricky if I would go to it anyway. Well, I did! But I had the most amazing luck, really. Because I was rejected the minute I talked by the staff people. They just couldn't do it, whatever I would say. So I guess you understand I was pretty sad. I saw all those people going into the tent and I felt pretty lonely. Luckily, there were some girls who looked friendly standing close to me, and I started talking to them. At some point, I told them my unfortunate fate. One of the girls turns to me and says that she has one extra blue securitybracelet! She got it by accident. I'm so grateful to her, really, and I wish I knew her name or had her adress.

The UIT itself was just amazing. I met some really nice people who I definately want to see again when we are really starting to study. Our mentors were really nice too and showed us every possible studentscorporation. I myself joined UMTC, a really little one who had just a great atmosphere. It felt just right for me and the people were very nice there. And they have a play every year, wich I plan to join in! The nights were very good too, although I prefer a cafe over a club.

Well, and then it was time for Lowlands. I just have to say that it was really amazing. I saw some great bands and discovered a lot of new ones I really love. Everyday I had one favourit concert. Friday it was OK GO, a very upbeat indierockbeat. They performed really well and really interacted with the audience (the singer song one song in the middle of the audience, acoustic on his guitar.

Saturday was my absolute favorite because that day Snow Patrol played. And we stood very close to the front, so I could see them very well. I'm a big fan of Snow Patrol and yes, the played very very very good! Can't wait to see them again!

Sunday Massive Attack was definately my favorite, because the lightshow was just amazing. There music is good but with all the statements, news headlines, planets and numbers flashing by it was hallucinating. A lot of people were in a trance, wich was pretty weird to see. The audience went crazy for 5 minutes after they stopped so I think that proofs this concert was amazing.

Other bands I really liked were Mumford and Sons, Two Door Cinema Club (Got a free ticket for there concert in Tivoli), The XX, I Am Kloot, The Gaslight of Anthem, Blood Red Shoes, The National, Pendulum and Laura marling.
And the other things I saw were Blink 182, Air, Moss, Pendulum, Queens of the Stone Age, The Ting Tings, Anouk. A lot of bands and a lot of fun!

Well.. I'm gonna do it. I'm gonna jump on that train tonight and sleep there, in the hope tomorrow will be my lucky day. I'm so nervous.. What if it goes wrong?! :( What if everybody who subscribed comes and there is no space left for me? :( Ugh.. the horror.. Just don't want to think about that. I just hope the people from the organisation of the UIT will be nice.. I mean, they were pretty rude on the telephone when they told me I couldn't come.. But.. FINGERS CROSSED! Please, please, PLEASE let me join the UIT!!!

Note: I signed in but it went wrong so now I officially can't go to the introduction week in Utrecht. But Í'm going there anyway because I heard a lot of people don't come to those things after signing in.. so hopefully there is a place for me!

I just packed everything btw and I also prepared a sheet with all my general information. And I have the cash in hand so I can pay the UIT commission properly. I just DON'T want to miss it.. just don't. Well, if everything goes right, lets hope so!, then this is my last post for another week. Because after the UIT, I'm going to Lowlands, a super awesome musicfestival. I'll be back at monday (23th of August). So then there will be hopefully lots of good pictures, nice memories and bandt-shirts!

Weirdness stands out

I watch a lot of american programms online, because its easy and you don't have to wait for it to appear on the dutch television (wich can take very very long). One programma, that I'm not reallly proud of following is America's next top model. I know its not the best programma in the world and that there are so many other things I could watch that wouldn't waste my time, but I can't help it. I just love those photoshoots. We have a Dutch top model programme too, but seriously, the American is better. And I have this strange addiction that when I start something, I have to finish it. One/Two years ago I decided to watch America's Next top Model, and then I mean every cycle... Yes, a strange addiction, I know, but its so much fun!

With the eleven cycles I watched, I have seen a lot of contestants. And that is what I wanted to talk about. In every cycle there is a pretty one, a timid one, a bitchy all over the place one, a sweet one and the weird one. And I always really love the weird and sweet ones, I don't know why. Some have some serious mental issues, but they still have to the courage to join such a big programme to persue their dreams. I think that is really impressive. I'm especially thinking about Heather , with the asperger syndrom in cycle 9. She was so different but she took such beautiful pictures... it was amazing. And there were many many more of those amazing woman who didn't fit in but still tried their hardest. Its a shame that although they stand out, they have never won a cycle before (well, the one I watched).

I have here a selection of models I really really liked. Well, there were many that I liked so I picked the bit weird and sweet ones and not all of them, and they are all from the last few cycles I watched. But really, there were so many great ones that didn't make it.. what a shame! :( Most pictures are from the serie but some are after there ANTM time. Enjoy!

Good news! Well, sort off. Turns out that most of the time, a lot of people don't show up at the UIT, so there is still a chance that there is a little spot for me! I'm going there the first day to ask if there is any space. I really really do hope so!

And here is the outfit of the day, with my new pants. I tried to keep it simple this time and originally I only wanted to wear black with it. Then I saw these jewelry and noticed that they look really good with this outfit! I think its a bit triballike, but of course without the famous prints. I do want something really tribal, I really that trend.

I have to figure out why all my pictures are from such a bad quality.. I hope I can post better ones soon!

Delft is only good for the Blue

Went shopping today with my mom in Delft to forget the terrible news I got yesterday.. Well, shopping? Delft was a huge dissapointment for me. The only store that was a bit interesting was the H&M, were a bought pants for late summer/autumn wich I will show you below. Don't get me wrong, Delft is a beautiful city to walk in (the town-moats are beautiful and.. everywhere!), but its simply not a city for fashionista's. And it was crowded with tourists, wich was a bit annoying (although I too walked with a map around the city). Delfts Blue was sold EVERYWHERE.. Ah well, I have to say, it made Holland famous..

I still hoping I can go the UIT, although the chance of getting in are really close to zero. One day is enough for me to see what its like, so I'm going to make some phonecalls and hope hope hope!!!

I also bought a white denimjacket in the sale for half the price :). Oh, and I bought this skirt (I'm wearing it right now) last week in the ZARA. Its really cute and I really love it. Looks with it will come very soon!!! The pants are not quite this colour (its not easy to capture the right colour on a camera). But I will were it tomorrow and that look will be posted on this very blog indeed! I only have jeans so this one was very different for me. The material is partly cotton and its very strechy. It feels so good to wear it, but I still have to figure a way out wich way I can combine it with other clothes. Guess that will be my morning challenge tomorrow, in front of my wardrobe!

Dots can brighten up your day

Just heard the awful news that my application for the UIT, the Utrechtse Introduction Week, was not received and that there is no space left for me left to join anyway... I'm really sad right now because I was so excited about it and because I really though I did everything right and on time. But I had this nasty feeling something was wrong so I called today and.. well.. Just not that happy right now. I'm missing the chance to meet new people and get to know Utrecht, the city were my new life will start... But at least I can go to Lowlands :). My friend got tickets for us, while we thought everything was sold out! So luckily there is still something to look forward too.

Well, this post won't only be about my sorrow and misery! Here is an outfit I wore this week. Dots! As you can see. I really am in love with those dotted thights but .. well, they are broken :( They have little holes due to my cat, sharp nails and just unlucky events. I'm planning to buy new ones, so much time to mourn over them is not really left. The thights and top are from H&M btw, the skirt from Zara, blazer from Promod and the wedges from Van Haaren.Ow, and here are some pictures of my weekend with friends in.. Harfsen! (Yes, its in the middle of nowhere). Not spectaculair, but I had to share the Chocolatefondue and one other picture with you.

English Rose

The second cottage really was unbelievably cute! Rosepatterns, pink shaded-lamps, little rugs.. It really was cute and also typical english. My room who I shared with my sister was the perfect setting for a shoot. I wanted to look like a cute english girl and I hoped it worked out! I'm wearing my H&M Rose skirt, my military jacket and my Van Haren wedges. Enjoy our little teaparty!

We also had a little cute balcony. Look at those chairs! But unfortunately, the weater was not that sunny, so we never had that opportunity to sit there. But here are some picture were you can see my outfit clearer.

The Beatles Story

The second week we spent a day at Liverpool, the city of music. The city were the worldfamous band started to play: The Beatles. My dad is a huge fan of the Beatles and really wanted to go to the museum. I'm new to the Beatlesworld but I have to say I really like their music. Last year I went with my dad and a friend who's crazy with the Beatles to a concert of the Bootleg Beatles, a little band that looks and sounds exactely like the Beatles. This tributeband is really amazing so if its in your country and city, please go!

The museum was amazing. It was really really detailed and big and I think we spent 3 hours in the museum, half a hour in the shop and there was also a little 3d movie with the Beatles. I, who was a newbie, thought it was really impressing because they really tell EVERYTHING. The museum self was beautiful too and really fun to walk in because they remade the bars and cafés the Beatles performed in. You really had a better idea what it was like in that time to watch the real Beatles and.. well it was just really impressing and a lot of fun. My father bought two Beatlesshirt, because he loves them so much. I wore my Bootleg Beatles shirt for the occasion :) Here is one of their most beautiful songs <3.

Discovering the world of Pool and Seals!

In our first little cottage we had a sort of gamingroom with a tabletennistable, a badminton/tennisnet and.. a pooltable! I never did that before so it was really fun try it out. My parents always snooker so this was new for them too, but they still were way to good for me. I'm wearing that Zaradress I showed a while back ago btw. It really has a vintage vibe over it, don't you think? And I personally love how many ways you can style it. Well, I at least have a few in mind wich I will show you of course in time :).

I did more then photoshoots of my looks of course. In the first week, we went on a boattrip to see seals. Wow, it really was amazing because there were at least 50 seals together on the beach, enjoying the sun. We got really close so we could see the seals very well. We did more animalstuff, because in the second week we also went to an animalrescuecenter. There were a lot of otters in there and owls. And wow.. otters can make noise.. lots and lots of annoying screaming noise! Well, it was feedingtime so they had a right to be making noise but it really was annoying. Adventures at Happisburgh beach

Hello everyone! I'm back from the lovely country of England :) My holiday with my parents and little sister was amazing and really beautiful! I will tell you all about it in the next posts to come with also a few new looks!! First week, we spent at the Eastcoast, at Happisburgh, a lovely little village with an afwul fate. The coastline is namely collapsing into the sea! So someday the houses of the people there will be destroyed and swim with the fishies. We walked down the beach and we already saw that a whole road was collapsed and broken into pieces onto the beach... Really dangerous.. But the beach with all his rough rocks and ruins was actually very pretty.

This outfit was inspired by that beautiful beach and made me feel like a true adventurer. Well, I guess my shorts also played a part, because they just have such a safarifeeling over them. Its from Mango btw, and this was the first time I wore it. I'm also wearing Van Haaren wedges, H&M white top, ZARA white blouse, a vintage necklace and my elephant ring. What about the hat? Well, thats my dad's hat, its from the Australian army or something. Its really really old, at least 20 years. My dad always wears this hat on vacations and it was perfect for the look of adventurer (thats why I also have those telescope around my neck).

As you all know, I graduated High School this year with, don't want to brag but, a pretty good list. I had five 8's and four 7's (oops, still bragging). Anyway, this are pictures from the graduationceremony. The ceremony was really great. First were some talks from the principal and from some of my fellow students. After that, we got our diploma, but.. The teachers had prepared for all of us (87 people who graduated and 1 who failed) a little talk. This talk was about how we were at school, what we did and what we are going to do in the future. They also showed a picture of everybody in their first year. Aww, I looked so cute and a bit nerdy also with my little glasses! Pity I don't have that picture for you here! My talk was fine. Some guys however were a bit humiliated in front of everyone, because they were such rascals in their six schoolyears.

Btw, the dress I'm wearing is selfmade! I sew it last year for the prom (with some.. I mean lots of help from my mom of course). Here is a picture from the prom with some of my friends, were you can see the dress better. I'm really happy with it and I guess I will wear it a lot more times with formal events!

I will post again on Friday, wich will be my last post for 2 weeks because I'm going to England with my parents and sister! I'm really excited but of course, I can't take my laptop with me and I don't think I have enough opportunities to update in internetcafés. I will of course try to update, but I don't think my mom would allow it. She says that I'm turning into a slave of my blog, because I'm always thinking about what to post next.. As all of you do, I follow a lot of other bloggers with different and beautiful styles. There is one blog in particuliar who caught my eye, with a blogger worth mentioning. She is really cute and has an amazing blog with lots of varied articles, giveaways and of course looks. Who'm I'm talking about? Tieka, from the blog Selecive Potential. What I really like about her are her amazing long blogposts with beautiful pictures and beautiful stories. She really tells about herself in a spontanous fun way, always laughing with her boyfriend (who takes all the pictures). I also really like the clothes she's wearing. Mostly very cute Modcloth dresses (still have to buy something of that amazing webshop), skirts, jumpsuits... She's very feminine but also a bit childish (wich is good!). The Orange-craziness

As everyone and especially in Holland will know, is that today the big final match is from the World Championship Soccer with Holland and Spain. Its extremely exciting that we even reached that final match, because we had some tough opponents (Brazil, Urugay). With that final match, the crazyness in Holland with the supporters exploded even more...

I guess alot of you know about our supporters: Dressed in orange, crazy costumes and a lot of noise and trouble (we have a lot of soccerviolence :(). You can spot them anywhere in the audience. The colour orange comes from the founder of our country: Willem van Oranje-Nassau. (Oranje=orange) Thats also why our players will be in orange tonight.

There are also a lot of special orange clothes made for the supporters like the Bavariadress. This sexy dress is a lot more stylish then all the other orange things although when you wear it, you may get arrested (as seen on the news). There are also other many orange shirts, like the lion one (The lion is the national animal of Holland).

The colour orange is currently everywhere in our little country and not only in the clothes. Every company does something with the World Cups and all the things are orange or red, white and blue (our flag colours). Famous are the wuppies and the beesies from the AH (a large supermarketconcern). You get one when you spent 15 euro's and you can't imagine how many things you can do with them.

I'm wearing this today. Not spectular or crazy but I'm wearing orange alright! (and I don't like the colour orange at all!). Tried to spice the orange a bit up with our national flag. Next to me are my friend Aria en my little sister Iris. I'll be watching the match with a bunch of people from thaleia (theatercamp). So let's hope they win!!!!

Exhausted but happy

Well,I'm back! After 12 hours of sleep I can finally function normally again and update you about my current life. Yesterday, I came back from Thaleia, a theatercamp where I did the play Lily's Crossing. It was, like always (its my fourth time there), again an amazing experience and it was so fun to be with everyone. Although I slept an average of 4-5 hours a day, I still had a lot of fun. Thats why I collapsed yesterday and went to bed pretty early. Pictures will come soon of Thaleia!

Right now I'm dying in this incredible heat.. Its 35 Co out there, a tempature that is unknown for Holland. This is what I'm wearing today. The Rome shirt is of course from Rome, where I went to with school a year ago. It was pretty amazing and I saw a lot of things that are beautiful. Skirt is from H&M and the heels.. don't remember those. Its a simple but nice outfit for this hot weater. I wonder who started the I Love .... shirts. I mean, you can find them in every touristic stand in every big city. But the original one is the I LOVE NY, so my shirt is a rip off.. Ah well, it contains a lot of memories and I guess thats why they are so popular, because they remind you of that one amazing holiday in that one amazing city.

Well, I'm off again, to the Parade (a festival that travels around The Netherlands). I will post tomorrow about our crazy footbaldressing, I promise!

THE Movie.. (Sex and the City 2review)

Well, I finally saw Sex and the City and I have to be honest and admit something a lot of fellow fashionbloggers will disagree with. I thought the movie wasn't that great...
I mean, of course, the fashion was fabulous.. Some dresses were to die for and the outfits were amazing. I actually really enjoined the outfits when they were younger. What they wear is so wrong in our timeperspective but back then I guess they looked pretty hot (except for Miranda('s hair) of course.. sorry!) And of course, the movie had the Sex and the City feeling you have after an episode but I think because it is so long and streched it loses the real spirit and the real characters. They all had something of the characters but I just felt they were just not there, not like in the serie. So in short, its too long and that ruins actually everything because the characters just lose their powerful flame. I really exspected more, so I was dissapointed. It was still a lovely night and I don't regret seeing it.

To let you see something else then complaining and nagging about the movie, here is what I wore that day. I tried to do something different with my hair.. Oh, wait.. I have to admit else also.. I'm terrible with hair so (shameshame) my mom did it... Ah well, it was for one evening. I'm wearing a zara skirt, H&M top and my Van Haaren Wedges.

I just went out with two friends of mine.. Had some fabulous cocktails (a Bellini Cherry? and a Mojito Strawberry). Now I'm tired and have to pack for theatercamp Thaleia. I guess this will be a goodbye again for a whole week! :( But I do have a few posts in mind so just wait patiently and then I will update very soon...

The weather is amazing lately here. The sun is shining, no raincloud in sight and I even got sunburned (wich is not good, but still gives you that summer feeling). I even went to the beach today with some friends and I'm going to an examparty tonight! Can't wait to see everybody again. Holidays are of course really nice, but its also a bit solitary, because everybody is busy with their own work, family and other nonsense stuff. I'm currently working a lot too, so I'm also to blame. I had this outfit in my mind for a long time. Pretty weird huh. I just knew I had to try this and I think it worked out pretty well. Do you guys also suddenly have an idea for a look in your mind and that idea keeps bugging you? Working with the couch was quite fun. I know my photoshoots are not that professional yet, but I'm learning. Hopefully, one day, my pictures will be like the ones on thecherryblossomgirl.com..

PS: My elephantring broke already! I just wrote a complaintletter, because it is just so unfair. I only wore it for 2 times! Hope I'll get some money back :(

This post is a bit late, but here are the presents I got from my family for my 18th birthday. I'm really happy with them, because they all are important for my new life as a student. I'm planning to move out and live in Utrecht, because next year I will start my studies Dutch languages there at the Utrecht University. And it would be more than bothersome to travel back and forth every day. But, Utrecht is one of the most difficult cities to find a room to rent, so if anybody knows a room that is avaible , please contact me!!!

But here are the presents! I got money (for a camera I'm saving for) , an amazing cookingbook, cookieshapes, a survivalpackage for students (with toiletpaper and soap)and a little teapot + teacup.

And here is the best of all, the present from my parents.. MY NEW LAPTOP! Now I finally have an own computer! The batterie is loading right now, so soon I can really use it! What do you think?

GESLAAGD!!!

Yessss!!! I'm finally done with school because yesterday I heard I graduated! I only have 7's and 8's on my list, so I guess I did a pretty good job!

To celebrate this amazing accomplishment, I went with a couple of friends to the Shoppingnight of The Hague at thursday. All the shops were open till 24:00 hour and there were lots of discounts everywhere! There was even a huge catwalk and free massages! It was a lot of fun :) Here is a picture of a shoe we saw that was really really ugly (It really won the ugliest shoe award that evening) and two pictures of the fashionshow. I shot a lot more picturse of the fashionshow, but my camera is not very good and can't take pictures of walking people.. And the walked and danced the whole time, so these were the only good pictures I made.. :(

I also bought a very cute dress from Zara! Its a bit vintagelike, but also sporty and just .. cute :) I wreally want to wear it but it is way to cold outside, so I had to change to pants :( But I decided that I will wear this dress on my Graduationparty :)

Tomorrow will be a very interesting post about my 18th birthdaypresent.. I will celebrate my birthday then for family. So if your interested, check my blog tomorrow! And for all the others who gratuated.. Congratulations and have fun with all the awesome parties to come!!!

Vintage Flowers

I'm back! Back in my little cold country and back with my family (wich, I admit it, I really missed in those past 10 days). Pictures of Florence will come soon :) There will be no outfit pics in Italy because.. (I'm ashamed) I kinda really looked like a tourist. I tried to be fashionable but it was way to hot for layers or make-up. So most of the time I wore a simple t-shirt and shorts. The pictures portray mainly the beautiful scenery of Florence. Florence is seriously a beautiful city! But that is for later..

Here is the outfit I wore today. Its a vintage dress from ilovevintage.com, wich I really really love. The dark colors look perfect with the denim shirt from Zara. The necklace, belt and wedges are brown to mix the colors up a bit. It was actually a bit to cold for this outfit outside, I guess I still had the Italian weather in my mind... What do you think?

Birthday!

A quick post from Florence to let you know that today I turned 18! Its so weird to be away from my family reaching such an important age. I kinda really miss them! But I'm sure we will celebrate my birthday again when I am home. Can't wait!

Today we just strolled down in the city. I bought a souvenir for my parents and unluckily for me, I still did not buy anything for myself (except food of course). I guess Italian fashion is not for me. It kinda pisses me off because I really wanted to buy something here in Italy!!! But then again, now I have lots of money left to buy other important stuff at home, for when I'm going to university.

We are going to a Pizzaria now, so this blogpost is already over. The holiday is almost over and I do but also don't wanna go back to Holland. But I can tell you one thing for sure... I had a great time!!!

Hello!

Already 3 days in Milan.. The time is flying by so incredibly fast! Its unbelievebly hot in here.. Everday day its around 30 C° and its going to be even hotter in Florence.. I am really not looking forward to that afwul weather. I burn really fast and I am alergic for the much sun so my arms are already pretty red from irritation :(

But the trip is awesome btw! Italy is beautiful and the food seriously delicious. We saw some churches and we shopped a bit wich did not succeed for me. Tomorrow we are going to the longest shoppingstreet of Milan, The corso buenos aires! HOpefully there will be a nice shop for me there!

OMG, i'm so excited!! I can't wait to go! Everything is packed and I checked everything a hundred times. I'm always so afraid that I forget something. But I'm quite certain that I really got everything... I actually had a pretty hard time picking clothes! At first I really had a big pile that seriously wouldn't fit in my bag.. I got some space left now, for all the clothes I will buy in Italy of course! Oh, for the non followers of me: I'm going to Milan and Florence with a good friend to celebrate that we are done with our final exams! :D

I'll try to update as much as possible in Italy too. We are going to make a lot of pictures, wich we will share with you :) Well that was this post.. not very exciting, I'm sorry! But I guess I really will make it up to you with many Italy Pictures to come!!!!

One Cosmopolitan Please

To celebrate that my exams are over and also all the exams of my friends we decided to drink cocktails today at the Vavoom Cocktailbar. It seriously is a really cool place, a bit hawain inspired with a tiki bar and flowerprints. There were many amazing cocktails but there was one who caught my eye. The....... COSMOPOLITAN! And no, I did not see the movie(s) yet but I certainly will! I'm new to the Sex and the City world but I do say that I love it! I just finished season 3, where Charlotte marries Tray "who can't get it up", Miranda breaks up with Steve, Samantha gets a HIV test and Carrie has an affair with Mister Big. What a wonderful drama and world. And of course.. the clothes and outfits are amazing! Here are two memorial ones. Samantha's sexual fantasy of fucking a fireman and Charlotte's more innocent dream of marrieing in a fairytale dress :)

What else? Well, I made some clothes happy and some clothes miserable because I decided wich ones would go with me to Italy. It seriously was such a hard job! At first, I had so many clothes piled up I wanted to wear in Italy, that I don't think I could wear all of them, even if I changed clothes 1 time a day. So I had to make some serious choices, wich was almost impossible! I also cleaned up my closet and had to depart with a lot of clothes. They were just to small :( I gave them to sister. Clothes deserve a good home, so I hope my lil sis will be happy with them.

Well, I slept a lot the last couple of days. I guess I'm just exhausted of all the really intense learning I did.. I think I actually spent the most time in the books of my friends, wich feels a bit loserish. But now I'm free and can I finally have some fun. I really missed my friends and also the blogging of course ;). Tomorrow I'm going to the 18th birthday of a really good friend of mine and I'm really looking forward to it! :) We are going to drink tea and eat cake in the middle of hundreds of roses (a rosesgarden) and just relax in the sun (well, if the sun finally takes the time to show up.. its awfully cold and wet these days here :( )

I will update before I go to Italy and I think I maybe will even update at my trip with pictures! (There is Free internet Access in Florence :D)
